"I have been bringing my bike to Alcoa GoodTimes since we moved here in 2005. There is a reason why. Recently I brought my scoot in to get the tire replaced, and to have the brakes done. While it was here, the bike fell off the kickstand, and the left side of the tank was dented. While this may have been a frustrating experience to all involved, I was extremely impressed with Derek and the entire staff, concerning the way they handled the situation. Instead of covering up a situation that would quite possibly result in a raving-lunatic customer in the shop, they called me immediately, and told me what had happened. This was exceptionally important to me. My wife has been in the service end of the car industry for nearly 20 years, so I know that this type of accident is inevitable. I also know that a lot of it is never reported to the customer. I was very impressed with Derek's openness, and willingness to accept the responsibility of the damage to my ride, as well as a desire to make things right. He kept in touch with me throughout the process, let me know what was happening, and got the damage repaired better than I had anticipated. I'll have to admit that I live closer to another Yamaha store, and that it sometimes requires planning to get my bike to the shop. However, with the professionalism and honesty that is displayed by all members of this outfit, Alcoa GoodTimes will be my bike shop as long as I live in Knoxville. Thanks again, and keep the shiny side up!"
