  • "Thank you for the wonderful customer service... Several girl friends and I were traveling close to 400 miles away from home and experienced a tire issue with one of our bikes. Everyone at Alcoa Good Times was extremely personable from the time we walked into the dealership to the time we left the service department. In fact, the service rep even went so far as to print off directions with a map for us to take on our trip through the Foothills Parkway and the Cherohala Skyway, which was quite helpful. It was much appreciated. We also were very grateful for the quick service! Overall, our experience with Aloca Good Times was excellent. Keep up the good work!"

  • "I have been bringing my bike to Alcoa GoodTimes since we moved here in 2005. There is a reason why. Recently I brought my scoot in to get the tire replaced, and to have the brakes done. While it was here, the bike fell off the kickstand, and the left side of the tank was dented. While this may have been a frustrating experience to all involved, I was extremely impressed with Derek and the entire staff, concerning the way they handled the situation. Instead of covering up a situation that would quite possibly result in a raving-lunatic customer in the shop, they called me immediately, and told me what had happened. This was exceptionally important to me. My wife has been in the service end of the car industry for nearly 20 years, so I know that this type of accident is inevitable. I also know that a lot of it is never reported to the customer. I was very impressed with Derek's openness, and willingness to accept the responsibility of the damage to my ride, as well as a desire to make things right. He kept in touch with me throughout the process, let me know what was happening, and got the damamge repaired better than I had anticipated. I'll have to admit that I live closer to another Yamaha store, and that it sometimes requires planning to get my bike to the shop. However, with the professionalism and honesty that is displayed by all members of this outfit, Alcoa GoodTimes will be my bike shop as long as I live in Knoxville. Thanks again, and keep the shiny side up! SK"

  • "I pulled into the service department at 4:22 on a Sat afternoon. The serrvice department I may add closes at 5:00 and I half expected for someone to look at he clock and say, "nope, we don't have that tire". I really would not have blamed them. I went in and spoke with the service writer DT. I sincerely wish I remembered his name because he is a great guy. I told him my problem, "I have a rear tire on my Honda ST that has bare threads showing". I appoligized for coming in so late but I noticed this about 60 miles back and had a couple hundred miles to go to get home. He took one look at the tire and "I am not letting you go anywhere on that tire if I have one that fits your bike". by this time it was about 4:35 and he goes to the parts area to check. They had one, and he goes into the service dept. and informs Marcos that he had one more tire to mount. Neither of these guys batted an eye about staying late. Maybe they had plans to do something right after work, maybe they were making their family unhappy because they were going to be late, but not one word of displeasure or grumbling. In fact they were energetic to help me, they recognized my plight and were very gracious and kind. I felt extremely lucky to have been directed there by a local rider who also stated they do a great job. Seems like good work and attitude gets noticed in the Knoxville area. I could not be happier with the work, the effort and the positive attitude of the guys who helped me .I think this is rare and should be rewarded. If anyone has the opportunity to shop Good Times Kawasaki I humbly ask you give them a try. If they treat you half as good as they did me you will be completely happy. David Lexington, Ky"

  • "Although I was buying a Used Bike, I was treated as if I was buying a brand new high end one. I was very impressed in their desire to ensure that I was completely satisfied. A plug for their technician, he was not satisfied by a slight noise (one that I never would have noticed nor assumed abnormal) so he gave the bike a thorough exam. The "noise" (what ever it is) was identified and it is being fixed, Thanks to all, and yes, I would recommend you to others."

  • "I recently bought a used 2003 Kawasaki Nomad from Eddie Miles. About an hour after leaving your store, the battery died and would not restart. My wife and I were stranded several miles from home. I called Eddie and he immediately volunteered to come pick us up with his own vehicle. We loaded the bike on a trailer and took it back to your shop where Eddie made sure we received a test of the charging system and a brand new battery. He and your Service Department even worked late to make sure we were satisfied and back on the road quickly. Even though I had purchased this bike as used and Eddie was under no obligation to correct the problem, he took care of it like it was a new bike. I really appreciate the great customer service from Eddie and your outstanding Service Dept. Thanks for everything. Mark Knoxville, TN"

  • "On a very rainy Wednesday morning at 9am (Aug 19,2009) I brought my 2009 Venture in for its 4k service. I was told that they could have the bike ready for me on the next day, Thursday. I said I really needed the bike as it was my only transportation. I'll shorten the story by saying that the service crew said they could probably have the bike ready between 1 and 2pm. I said that would be fine and I would wait. They pitched in and had the bike ready in about 3 1/2 hours. Nice work and friendly folks. Thank you."

  • "While visiting Tn on my 1300 Tourer I was involved in accident. Ben Loope advised me they did not the parts in stock however he would speak to the Sales Mananger since they had another bike like mine on the show room. They received the OK to remove the parts and repair my bike to get me home! They had me out the door within three hours instead of 4 to 5 days! The staff was great! I wish I received this treatment in Miami. I cannot say enough about Ben and Eric in service. Thanks again."

  • "I love that the owner is hands-on. Felt like everyone wanted me to get what I wanted. If Charlie was not hands on, it would be just ok, but because he is - it is a great place to do business. I feel the dealership is the best place in east Tennessee to purchase any thing from a new Boat to a spark plug. They are hands down the best dealership in a 300 mile radius. They have what you need or they will get it. And most dig in to get a deal done."

  • "Unlike other dealerships in the area, Alcoa Good Times is truly laid back, no pressure at all. Everyone who helped my wife and me was truly professional and made us feel as if we were the most important customers there. And the fact that the owners work the floor and assist customers shows what down-to-earth people they are. We were torn between several different makes of motorcycles, but the professional, courteous people at Alcoa Good Times clinched it. We ended up purchasing a Kawasaki 900 Custom LT with a bunch of accessories, and couldn't be happier."

  • "On several occasions I have visited your location and left without ever receiving any help from a sales associate, frustrated but still interested in a motorcycle I returned this past Saturday (March 24) to review your used inventory. I entered the store and was greeted by a sales associate and expressed that I was just looking (this was a first for someone to approach me). I looked around for a little and after standing around a motorcycle that I was interested in for about 10 minutes without another associate offering to help, I decided to leave. I went and called my fiance to express my discontent and she suggested I go back in and find out some information about the motorcycle I was interested in. Although hesitant I decided to do so. I stood at the front desk where you walk in the door and after about 3 minutes the sales associate from earlier told me he would be with me in a minute (he was talking to the woman greeting people and another associate). I proceeded to go back to the motorcycle that I was interested in. I stood around for another 5 minutes or so and still was not helped; growing ever frustrated I decided to leave. Just as I was about to walk away from the motorcycle a gentleman asked if I needed some help. Eddie Miles promptly assisted me by answering all my questions in relation to the motorcycle. We talked about a cash price and taxes and everything that I was concerned with. I told him that I would be back in a little while to pick up the bike (I needed a ride home and to get my gear). Upon leaving I thought about paying cash or financing (I only discussed paying cash). So I called Eddie and talked with him regarding it, he was able to give me some ball park numbers as well as all other information that I needed. I came back in with the intent to purchase the used motorcycle. When I arrived I filled out the finance paper work and Eddie was very helpful talking to me about the process and answering the questions I had about the new motorcycles that my fiance and I were looking at while waiting. Eddie escorted us into the finance office and we were introduced to the lady that would help us. We were informed about some specials that were going on with Yamaha and she filled us in on several options about financing the used motorcycle. I talked with my fiance and thanks to the special from Yamaha and Eddie's wonderful help we decided to purchase a new motorcycle. Saturday afternoon around 6pm I left happy with a 2007 Yamaha V-Star 1300. If it were not for Eddie and his willingness to help I would not have purchased from your location. His attitude and no pressure sales approach are just what I was looking for. He was helpful in explaining the difference in models with both the good and the bad about each model, never once pushing us toward any model in order to make a profit. He let my fiance and I make the decision that was right for us. Upon deciding what model I wanted he went out of his way to make sure that I could ride the bike home that night even though you were already closed for the day. He stayed until the process was complete and we were satisfied; he even found another discount on the model I had selected saving me another $500. The account manager was excellent as well staying to finish our paperwork and letting us choose the option that would work best for us, not pressuring us in any one direction. I will highly recommend people to your location as long as Eddie will be there to assist them. He went above and beyond that of any bike salesman I have dealt with. I want to thank Eddie for the excellent experience that I had with him after several negative experiences at your location. I love my new bike and am extremely happy with the manner I was dealt with by Eddie and I appreciate the respect and courtesy that he showed both my fiance and me."
